  1. Not a standout, but White Shoes is good example of the Americana style Emmylou developed in her early albums. The band is hot, although not as original sounding as on Luxury Liner or other early recordings. Emmylou,s voice is grand and you can here the maturity growing in her voice and style/5(47).
